Benefits of Being a Bibliophile
Posted by Marie Lavender
To my fellow book lovers…

There are many benefits to being a book lover. Maybe we have an unhealthy compulsion to buy books. Maybe we have no surface space not claimed by random literary treasures. We may regularly suffer from book hangovers, but by gollie we:
Prefer simple pleasures Never go to bed lonely

Get excited easily Have better vocabulary 😉

Never get bored Travel to distant lands

Never stop learning Have less stress

Improve memory …

Interview: Marie Lavender!
Posted by Marie Lavender
A unique approach to an author interview, when Gloria Weber interviews me about superheroes! 🙂
Welcome to my first ever evil experiment author interview! This is something I’m hoping to do more often around here. In the secret liar today we have superhero author Marie Lavender. Marie, please introduce yourself!

I had to share this incredibly inspiring story! And I love kitties so…

Greetings and meows, dear peeps and pets!
Maisie here, guest hosting on Jennifer’s blog today.
Townie Cats
I thought it was high time I shared a little “cat tale” with you from five years back.
It was the Fall of 2010 and my sister Vivian and I, both three years old, had recently moved around the bay to Newtown with Jennifer and Paul. Up until then, we’d been raised as indoor city cats who rarely went outside unless it was in the backyard under vigilant watch by our owners.
backyard fun
While our soon-to-be permanent home on Perry’s Point was undergoing restoration and renovations, our little family had to bide our time in Mike Perry’s summer-house over near Barbour Tickle. As the weeks passed and our owners grew eager and impatient to move to the Point, they told us that once we got there, we would have the freedom to…
